Raw Materials

For producing graded cast iron castings for exports, great emphasis is put on procuring quality raw materials from dependable sources.. Care is also exercised in procurement of sieved low clay silica sand, bentonite, low ash cold dust sodium silicate and other chemical binders to aid regular assured quality outputs.

Melting

Core Shop

The Core shop uses common manifold CO2 system, super-mixer and quality binders for core making. Intricate finish cores are made on compax cold box core shooter of 30kgs capacity

Pattern Shop

This in house facility is equipped with up to date measuring instruments to produce accurate patterns and mark castings produced to ensure desired accuracy as per customers requirements. Design and development team provides required gating system to individual castings.

Facility is also provided with systematic pattern storage system of racks and powered handling mechanism to place individual pattern match plates in allocated locations. It stores over 200 patterns.

Moulding

  • ARPA 1300 having a box size 1300 × 1000 × 400 mm – 10 moulds per hour.
  • ARPA 450 having a box size 710 × 600 × 250 mm – 30 moulds per hour.
  • ARPA 900 having a box size 900 × 900 × 150 mm / 350 mm – 30 moulds per hour.

Product Testing

Our separate R&D wing, helps us to further enhance the product quality and design features. It also assures our clients of a durable product range. Some of the facilities available in our research unit includes chemical laboratory and physical laboratory.

It has a wide variety of testing equipment for inspection, production control, quality assurance and evaluation right from analysis of molten metal to testing of finished castings for various properties. Continuous on-line quality control is exercised throughout the process of manufacture.

Products are manufactured & Tested as per various worldwide standards like EN 124, ISI 1726, ASTM A48, etc. Our Foundry has full fledged in-house facilities for testing of sand raw materials, final metal composition, load test, tensile test and Brinell Harnesses.

We have in-house Load Testing facility and we can test the product with load rating from 1.5 tons to 90 Tons.Spectrometer has been added to the system for more accuracy.
